Melissa has nearly four decades of experience in the financial services industry, including more than 30 years in sales management and leadership. As Executive Vice President and Director of Retail Investment Services, she is responsible for the strategic direction, management, and oversight of Beacon Investment Services across Beacon Bank & Trust. She also serves as the Office of Supervisory Jurisdiction (OSJ) for Commonwealth Financial Network.

Melissa is a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ (CRPC®) through the College for Financial Planning and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) through the Center for Fiduciary Studies. She is a Registered Securities Principal and holds the FINRA Series 24 General Securities Principal, Series 7 General Securities Representative, and Series 65 Uniform Investment Adviser registrations through Commonwealth Financial Network®. She also holds a Rhode Island life, accident, and health insurance producer’s license.

Before joining the Bank, Melissa held leadership and financial-services positions with Fleet Investment Management, the FIS Companies, Mutual Benefit Life Insurance Company, and Rhode Island Hospital Trust National Bank. Throughout her career, she has developed and managed retail investment programs, recruited and mentored financial advisors, and guided organizations through complex operational and broker-dealer transitions.

Melissa currently serves on the Investment Committee of Dorcas International Institute.

She was recognized as one of Providence Monthly’s “Ten to Watch” in 2006 and as one of Providence Business News’ “Women to Watch” in 2013. She has also received the Five Star Wealth Manager Award, as featured in Rhode Island Monthly, from 2014 through 2026. In her spare time, Melissa enjoys golfing and traveling.
